Abstract EN

The present study deals with the topic of "The philosophy of man and civilization in Malik bin Nabi through contemporary studies - rooting and dimensions.

" Malik bin Nabi, may Allah have mercy on him, came up with the concept of man and civilization from a comprehensive and integrated philosophical vision, which is based on an Islamic moral dimension and the effectiveness of the West.

He, therefore, considers man as the core element on which reality is based.

Man is the source of the principle as well as its target and criterion.

The goodness and corruption of civilization are measured by the benefit or harm caused to man since the latter has a free will that is specific to him from a divine recognition.

Malik bin Nabi criticizes the Western view of both man and civilization in relation to the intellectual clash between the trends of materialistic thought and divine religions in Europe.

He also addresses the issue of colonialism and the peoples' readiness to accept it, criticizing the Western civilization, which has gone far away from the human nature.

This is also supported by the testimony of the great Western thinkers despite their countries' services fighting ignorance, starvation and illnesses.

Humanity has also benefited from the progress achieved by the West, which exploited all resources of its colonies.
