Abstract EN

This research deals with the pre- islamic poet Al –Akhnas Bin Shihab Al- Taghlibi , his life and environment .

He was a noble of Taghlib tribe and one of its heros; he died at around 70 pre – Hijrah .

The research also highLights the topics that dealt with in his poetry .

Hence, the poet dedicated to the environment and its conflicts for the sake of survival on the personal and social level .

The auther collected and studied the poetry from its original old sources and re-format and corret it .
