The principle of separation of powers requires the non-interference of authority in the functions of another authority, by carefully defining their areas of competence, with a balance between these authorities.

Therefore, regimes differ in the question of relying On the olute or relative separation of this principle according to their circumstances.

In Algeria, the constitutional amendment of 2016 included areas of cooperation and mutual control between the legislative and executive authorities, which are exercised according to several mechanisms and means.

This requires searching for the constitutional boundaries of this relationship and its impact on the basic functions of each authority.

Even if it showes their superiority in several areas in exchange for the ineffectiveness of the monitoring tools exercised by Parliament on the work of the Government, which affected the establishment of a balance between the two authorities.
