The exploitation of outer space may lead to accidents resulting from Satellites are destroyed in the air environment or fall to the ground, which causes dangers as a result of these satellites containing radioactive material.

Among the most important of these incidents is the accident of the Russian satellite - Cosmos 954 - in the northern region of Canada.
