Abstract EN

- Our main purpose in presenting this work is to highlight the phenomenon of irony; that artistic technique with the perfect ability to highlight aesthetics of literature in general and for poetry in particular, by making the creator leave Direct subtraction and simple artistic formulation and moving to aesthetic obscurity, which stimulates the recipient visually and aesthetically, because of it intellectual technique and linguistic mechanisms that indicate the skills and equipment acquired by the creator, and this attribute is what makes it -Irony- related to rhetorical methods and the Arabic statement; and expressions in which the intended meaning is contrary to the apparent meaning, this is what we will attempt to present in this research, by clarifying the overlaps and differences between the methods of statement and irony.
