Abstract EN

The study aims at investigating the relationship between the drainage basins and the main aqueducts in the eastern region of Wasit governorate, represented by the basins of Kalal Badra and the Jabab river with the deposits of artificial rocks available in the region.

They flow from through study of morphometric properties of two basins knowledge of main valleys capacity in transport process all matter and energy which flowing inside their river drainage basin then knowledge of quantities sediments transferred to the estuaries of these rivers and there types.

The eastern region of Wasit, which occupies the eastern part of the sedimentary plain within the governorate of Wasit, is an area of (5033.2 km 2) and is between brackets length (45.29.0 – 46.35.0) east, and two widths(32.30.0 – 33.32.0) north of the most important areas rich in sediment and mineral wealth suitable for investment in the field of construction industries.
