Abstract EN

: The study aimed to find out the relationship between the concept of reading self and achievement in the oral expression subject among students of the fifth year of primary school in some primary schools in Laghouat city, and the sample consisted of (50) male and female students, and the reading self-concept scale was applied to them, and the results of a test in the oral expression subject were applied.

The descriptive method was followed to reveal the relationship between the two previous variables, and the statistical method used the Pearson correlation coefficient, and the results of the study found that there is a correlation relationship between the two variables, and there are also statistically significant differences between the sexes in the reading self-concept in favor of females.
