The research aims to identify impact of using strategy of critical thinking of philosophy course in physical education on social persuasion and cognitive achievement, Using the experimental approach to suit the nature of research, A sample of 48 students from the fourth year of the teaching specialization was applied, In the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys - Alexandria University for the academic year (2016 - 2017), The sample was divided into two equal groups, A control group which applying the normal method (lecture method) (24) students and An experimental group applying the strategy of critical thinking (24) students, The Social Persuasion Scale was used, Prepared by: Taki Badri Aziz (2015), Test the cognitive achievement of the philosophy of physical education, Prepared by: Researcher.

The most important results, The use of the strategy of critical thinking in teaching the philosophy of physical education had a positive impact on the cognitive achievement and social persuasion of the experimental group, The use of the lecture method in teaching the philosophy of physical education has a positive effect on the cognitive achievement and social persuasion of the control group , The rates of improvement in cognitive achievement and social persuasion of the experimental group are higher than the control group, The researcher recommended using the strategy of critical thinking in teaching the curriculum of the philosophy of physical education and others similar courses for fourth-year students , Using the Social Persuasion Scale and the Cognitive Achievement Test for the Curriculum of Physical Education Philosophy (by the researcher) to conduct studies related to the students in Faculties of Physical Education and conducting studies to reach the best ways to teach the curriculum of the philosophy of physical education and similar courses.
