Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the quality of the teaching performance of the mathematics teachers in the educational stages in light of the knowledge economy requirements whose number amounted to of (386) male and female teachers.

The sample of the study was deliberately selected during the first semester of the academic year(2017/2018) To achieve the objectives of the study, a tool consisting of five axes whose items amounted to (44).

The researcher used the following statistical processes: the extraction of arithmetical mean, standard deviations, analysis of multiple variances as well as Schiff test.

The results showed that the mean of the teachers' assessment of the study sample on the degree of mastering the mathematics teachers of the quality of teaching performance in light of the requirements of the knowledge economy as a whole was medium.

There were also of significant statistical differences according to the difference of sex variable except for the student's aspect as well as assessment aspect which was in favor of the female teachers.

There were also significant statistical differences attributed to the teaching experience variable in favor of the experienced teachers (more than 11 years) in all aspects.

There were also significant statistical differences attributed to the variable of scientific qualification in favor of the teachers who have scientific qualifications (B.A plus advanced educational diploma) in all aspects.

The study also showed significant statistical differences attributed to the variable of the teaching stage in favor of the assessment of teachers (intermediate) in all aspects and the total mark as well.

The study recommended applying assessment types (diagnostic, formative and summative) and its tools (check- list, rating scale, learning log, anecdotal record) that help in students' learning and improving their achievements.
