Abstract EN

The research aims at finding out the effect of mind games in developing fifth primary pupils' language proficiency skills.

Two hypotheses are developed to find out the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable in the pre- test and with control group in the post-test.

Experimental design of the partial control of pre- test and post-test is utilized.

The researcher has intentionally selected a sample of two classes with total number of (61) pupils, 30 pupils in the experimental group (Section A) and 31 pupils in the control group (section B).

After preparing the plans according to the mind games (Leaves of trees and the basket of letters balls and similarities) and the post test, they are exposed to a jury of experts to be approved.

The experiment is conducted on the study sample at the end of which, the participants take the post test.

The data achieved is statistically manipulated by utilizing the suitable methods.

The results of the study indicate that individuals in the experimental group who are taught by mind games outweigh those in the control group in developing their language fluency skills.

The results also show that scores of the experimental group students in the post test (after being taught according to mind games) outweigh their scores in the pre test (before being exposed to the independent variable).

In the light of the results achieved, a set of conclusions, suggestions, and recommendations are put forward.
