Abstract EN

Objective: This study aims to know the relation and the partnership levels between the public libraries and the private sector, which are represented by the business organizations and aims for benefits, and the partnership fields between them, as well as knowledge of obstacles and obstacles to the implementation of this partnership.

This study aims to know the reason for entering such partnerships and also the reasons for choosing the partners.

In addition to highlighting the general framework of partnership between the libraries and the business organizations.

The scientific method: this study follows the descriptive method by applying it on a sample in the public libraries in Egypt.

In addition to following the descriptive analysis way to describe the society characteristics.

Limits: This study put objective limits, which are represented by searching for the relying on public libraries and the business organizations moreover choosing the area, which located in Cairo governorate.

Results: The study found that only 20% of the study sample was implemented partnership projects.

However, the partnership between public libraries and business organizations can be adopted by 90%.

Finally, more than (40%) of the public libraries are concerned about the failure to achieve their target of implementing partnership projects.

Practical impacts: These results will help the libraries managers and different types of libraries.

It will also develop the level of it's services and activities.

And improve its role .This will happen because of high budgets and good financial and academic support.

Recommendations: There are a lot of recommendations like studying all the sides which qualify the public libraries to enter such partnership with the business organizations.

It is important to install specialized administration for this issue.

Secondly, to know the laws which judge installing these projects.

Finally keep all the rights for the public libraries.
