he study aimed at identifying the size of the assistive courses for the study of library and information sciences in the Egyptian libraries and information departments through studying and analyzing the courses of the colleges which belong to these departments and the study of the students, and based on the methodology, the study reached several results, the most important of which are: - The assistant courses for the study of library and information sciences in the Egyptian libraries departments reached 418 decisions representing 28,63% of the total number of courses.

In addition, the supporting courses recorded the highest percentage in the departments of the three libraries and libraries of Al-Azhar University, which is 52,76% The three, as well as the Islamic Sciences.

The majors in which the courses belong to the study of library and information sciences, where the number of courses in the Islamic religion, 99 courses represent 23,68% of the total courses.
