Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the extent of human and cognitive values in higher education curricula، by trying to evaluate the content of selected courses curricula in Jordanian universities.

The first part of the study discusses the system of human values; the second part explores international experiences differentiated; the third part analyzes some university courses outlines that focus on human values.

Thus the study concluded that concepts of values are not well built in university courses curricula، so that it should be more assimilated with human values، and that should be linked and embedded in courses’ curricula.

The study recommended the need to follow some of the mechanisms that will improve the students’ level of commitment to code of ethics through the introduction of some amendments on the relevant courses.
