Talcoma is a pleural mass which may develop as a rare complication following talc pleurodesis.

Talc pleurodesis is performed to obliterate the pleural space to prevent recurrent pleural effusions or persistent pneumothoraces.

The present report describes a case of a patient who developed enlarging pleural mass (talcoma) following talc pleurodesis.
