We introduce a nonautonomous discrete neuronmodel based on the Rulkov map and investigate its dynamics.

Using boththe linear stability and bifurcation analyses of the system of piecewise difference equations, we determine dynamical bifurcations and parameter regions ofsteady-state and periodic solutions.
