شغلت قصة نبي الله آدم (عليه السلام) اهتمام العلماء بصورة عامة و اهتمام المؤرخين بصورة خاصة لأسباب عدة أهمها ان حياة نبي الله آدم (عليه السلام) تقسم الى قسمين: الأولى المدة التي قضاها في الجنة و التي اختلف العلماء في كونها جنة الخلد ام هي جنة أخرى وفي هذا حيث طويل و آراء عدة و القسم الثاني من مسيرة حياته هي بداية نزوله على وجه الأرض أي بدأ تاريخ الانسان على ارض المعمورة وحركته التي مثلت بداية نشوء التاريخ لأكتمال عناصره الأساسية وهي وجود اول انسان على الأرض و الزمن وحركة هذا الانسان في بقاع مختلفة من الأرض.
و من هنا تأتي أهمية البحث في ارتباط قصة ابينا آدم (عليه السلام) في المؤلفات الجغرافية المغربية و الخوض في غمار المصادر الجغرافية المغربية و الاندلسية و منها الكتاب الروض المعطار في خبر الاقطار لمؤلفه الحميري و هو محمد بن عبد المنعم الصنهاجي الحميري يكنى أبا عبد الله و يعرف بابن عبد المنعم من أهل سبتة الأستاذ الحافظ اختلف في سنة مولده و وفاته و مع كل هذا يبقى الاحتمال الأرجح هو و فاته في النصف الأول من القرن التاسع الهجري و كذلك الادريسي في كتابه نزهة المشتاق في اختراق الافاق و البكري في كتابه المسالك و الممالك و تسليط الضوء على المعلومات الواردة عن قصة ادم (عليه السلام) في تلك المؤلفات و مدى التوافق و التناقض الحاصل بينهم.

The story of the Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) occupied the attention of the high in general and the attention of historians in particular, for several reasons, the most important of which is that the life of the Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) is divided into two parts: The first is the period spent in heaven and which scholars differed as to whether it is the paradise of immortality or is it another paradise and in This is where long and many opinions, and the second part of his life process is the beginning of his descent on the face of the earth, i.

the history of man began on the land of the planet and his movement that represented the beginning of the emergence of history to complete its basic elements, hence the importance of research in linking the story of our father Adam (peace be upon him) in The Moroccan and Andalusian geographical literature, including the book (Al-Roud Al-Muatar in the News of the Countries) by his companion Al-Himyari of the people of Ceuta, differed in the year of his birth and his death, and with all this the probability remains his death in the first half of the ninth century AH.
