Perhaps one of the most important sciences that have experienced man since its inception to the present is the science of theater and economics, because of their obligatory relation and the inevitability of the existence of man and his relations with the environment to which he belongs, and although theater science has a link with many other sciences such as linguistics, physics and semiotics, but his relationship with economics is still limited, so the researcher saw the need to find approaches between the theory of economic marginal benefit and the carriers of significance in its production of meaning.

: What is the marginal benefit of employing semantics to produce meaning in a theatrical performance? Then the goal was set in trying to find an approach between the marginal benefit of economic production and the semantics as units producing meaning in the theatrical presentation and after indicating the importance of research and limiting, the research in its theoretical framework - the first research addressed the concept of marginal benefit in economics and its relationship to the elements of the theatrical exposure as units for the production of the concerned Then the researcher addressed in the second research the concept of semantic carriers and their divisions according to semiotic theories and adopted the division (Pierce) triangular in the analysis of the sample.

In the procedures, the researcher chose the play of darkness as a model for research and analyzed it according to the descriptive analytical approach and justified its choice as it is consistent with the objectives of the research and watching it and getting a recording of it on a CD, and then the researcher reached a sentence of results perhaps the most important, that the meaning is richer when the value of satisfaction is equal to the value of the marginal benefit and then the conclusions and some suggestions and recommendations were confirmed, and the list of sources and references was installed.
