Abstract EN

This paper deals with some aspects of globalization to be analysed within its social and cultural dimension to highlight some challenges encountered by the Arab society in general taking the Algerian archetype as an example.

Because it took, as a subject, many seminars held between researchers in all their knowledge fields, one of the sociological one which has been taken important steps in researching its features and manifestations inside modern societies, especially the developing ones of which the Algerian society is part.

This has led to this modest attempt in order to observe some of its impact on the society, regardless the fact that it gives rise to controversial issues around itself as a phenomenon; even though the conflict is usually something which is no more than a conflict with ourselves.

This is why we must first of all give a definition to the phenomenon as well as some of its dimensions in the first instance.

Then examine other aspects of its social and cultural impacts on families and society symbiosis in general.
