Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the reality of the manufacturing industry and its contribution to the development of the development strategy and its importance in the national economy, by measuring the evolution of production and exports of the manufacturing sector and its contribution to GDP, by creating value in the national economy, by comparing the growth rates obtained by the manufacturing sector with growth rates, and by comparing the Maghreb countries in general with respect to this alternative development, in order to identify the extent and direction of its impact on the national economy.

The study concluded that the performance of the Algerian manufacturing industry is small and modest compared to the comparator countries, despite the resources and wealth contained in the national economy.

Building the strategy requires concerted efforts at local and regional level.
