Abstract EN

Currently many studies cope with the impact of the accelerated development of communication technology in the field of knowledge of information and communication sciences on one hand, and the new terms and concepts that emerged from this development on the other hand.

As well as the emergence of digital services and virtual professions created by the new means of communication, which is the Internet.

This expansion has led researchers in information and communication sciences to combine old and new concepts without looking to the consequences, especially in concepts' language and its influence on the future of the journalistic profession.

These new concepts related to the journalistic profession are the aim of this study, which emphases on the problematic of defining press concepts in the light of technological developments in the field of information and communication.
