Abstract EN

A Woman's life in early America was featured with the traditional roles that were related, most of the time, to running the house, farming, and raising their children.

These roles varied based on social class, wealth, and status.

In colonial America, colonists created their own laws and system that were similar to that of England.

Though colonists agreed on their whole perception of a woman's role in the society, there still had been some differences concerning educating girls, preparing them to get married, and allowing them to own a property.

As well as being free at the level of legal status and political participation and choices.
