L 24This study aims to present a systematic approach to the procedures that can be adopted to promote the activity of industrial subcontracting in Algeria.

For this purpose, we have made a diagnosis of the reality of this sector to identify the abilities and opportunities that abound in it, as well as the challenges facing the actors in it, in terms of exploiting those capabilities and contributing to industrial development.

We have concluded that the developing of this emerging industry requires adapting industrial policy and contracting strategies to the trends of the subcontracting market, in particular, supporting investment in productive technology, and in specialized training centers, as well as encouraging foreign partnership and organizing contracting networks in the form of competitive poles.
