The Algerian family law has been since he appeared in 1984 from the women s associations associated with western culture where those activists refused most of what was mentioned in the articles of the law, especially the issue of the guardian in marriage where they considred as an insult to women because she can not marriage contract by her self directly and she always need a man to take care of her life so these associations opposed him and demanded to be replaced by european law which helps women.
