Abstract EN

This article examines the involvement of actors in the process of regional governance, where we will rely on empirical research methodology that will allow us through a tripartite approach to examine the role of actors in the conduct of their territory.

Theoretical analysis of key terms and concepts related to regional governance will allow us to shed light on the appropriate conceptual framework to examine the mechanisms available to actors to practice the latter.

On this basis, this study proposes an approach to integrate the various theoretical frameworks to determine the overall factors that allow actors to engage in the context of regional governance.

The study proposes a model of regional governance that cannot be generalized to another region because of the different criteria and circumstances in which the behaviors and mechanisms governing interactions within this region are practiced.

Nevertheless, it can be said that the latter can be approached through the characteristics of rationality, participation, communication and decision making process.
