Abstract EN

The objective of the study was to estimate the internal demand for the total imports in Algeria during the period function (1990-2016), in order to search for the main determinants of this variable, which helps to formulate business decisions to restrict foreign trade or edited in whole or in part, which serves the macro-economic policy, We came through the study, the demand for overall imports in Algeria is determined by the following variables: gross domestic product at constant prices, the real exchange rate, and the rate of trade exchange, the price of oil in the long term, and gross domestic product at constant prices and the real exchange rate in the short term, which helped us put some recommendations that will help improve their economic policies.
