Abstract EN

This study aims to assess the relationship between the financial policy and the economic activities in Algeria, over the period 1980-2017, by using the SVAR model.

In the short period, the obtained results show that the structural shocks on Algeria's financial policy instruments lead to increase, with only the small rate, the real GDP.

So, the Algerian economy does react significantly to the government efforts over the studded period.

Indeed, the shocks on the public revenues lead to decrease the general price index by 2.

4% and raise the interest rate by 2.

9%, however his effect tends to disappear in the medium term (around 4 years).

In addition, the public expenditure shocks will make the inflation rate and the interest rate to rise by 1% and 1.

7% respectively.

Therefore, the Algerian's financial policy doesn't efficiency, because the government expenditures don't destine to the investment to create the added value able to accelerate significantly the rate growth.
