Patterns of scientific material collection for research, reading as a model Scientific research acquires richness, and its value increases with the diversity of its sources and references.

The able researcher is the one who improves reading what was contained in the documents available to him.

So reading is considered the most important mechanism adopted in the stage of collecting scientific material, and on them, hold the hope of gathering the appropriate and useful information.

Accordingly, we will devote this research paper to discuss the following problematic: - What is meant by reading in the collection of scientific material? What are its types? - What are the methods، and methods of reading used for collecting scientific material to achieve maximum benefit from various sources? Therefore, the aim of this study revolves around: Instruct the researcher on the most important methods of reading sources, and references of the research, to provide effort and time in accessing the information in an organized and fast manner.
