The aim of this study is to reveal the concept of total quality management, and its most important principles, And the extent to which these principles are applied by the Algerian Economic institution, Particularly in the energy institutions of Skikda, We have arrived at several results, among them Quality is of utmost importance both to the consumer and to the enterprise.

It has been shown that there is interest in Skikda's energy institutions in applying TQM principles, but to a moderate degree.
