Abstract EN

The research aims at addressing the role of credit policy and monetary credit activity of banks in achieving the operation of society, To achieve the objective of the research, a number of key hypotheses were put in place to solve the research problem.

For the purpose of applying the field research, three private commercial banks were selected in the Baghdad governorate, The data of the banks were collected and analyzed and the results obtained for the hypotheses, The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is the monetary credit activity as the best tool for achieving the credit policy, The credit policy is the ideal tool for achieving operate, moving the wheel of the economy and developing all economic sectors of the country by providing the necessary funding for those who wish to establish projects, especially individuals, to increase income.

The most important recommendations for research is increase the ratios of the monetary credit activity granted, especially for individuals with small projects, with the aim of increasing income per capita and diversify the credit activity granted and distribute it to all economic sectors of the country, which contributes to move the economy and increase employment opportunities for the members of society.
