Abstract EN

Those working in narratives are often interested in analysing narrative texts and revealing their temporo-spatial processes and the logic of its narration.

However, they transcend the most important element in the production of these texts.

They subconsciously or unconsciously ignore the textual thresholds or parallel texts (titles, subtitles, alerts, citations, quotations, comments, and signatures/projections).

They may not pay attention to them for their small size, or because they do not carry significant connotations, or it is not related to the world of narrative text, which is sent to us by the narrator as an adventure or an attempt to approach the events surrounding it.

Gerard Genette warned against the neglect of texts in our analysis of the creative texts, because it targets us, in particular a special book he called "thresholds" in which he discusses the history and importance of studying paratexts.
