Abstract EN

Our study has concentrated on examining the motives for pleasure and Al-Aʿshā's feeling in his poem (Farewell to Horaira).

The transformations of pleasure with him have been noticed according to the psychological, environmental and social motives of the poet.

This has been expressed by each of the images of this poem, so it came with its beginning with the kinship, stating his position towards woman and his need for her.

The second portrait shows the image of clouds, lightning and rain.

Then, he stood at his camel with a comprehensive brief description.

Then he went on to describe the wine and its gatherings, expressing his urgent need to it.

Then, he ended with the purpose for which he composed this poem, which is represented by the satire of Yazid Bin Mezhar Al-Shaibani, which led him to be proud of his tribe, boasting about its force and the bravery.
