This study is consider as a descriptive view about fundamental issu , namely a cultural role of the media and what it can be granted to their peoples and identities from the province of thier heritage, whether material or immateriel especially with forms of cultural destruction sought by globalization as an alternative and face of a new colonization that eliminate people identities and what it carries from heritage knows its origins and its components and its presence , thus , it has tried algerian media on different kinds of search for how to maintain the personality and national identity and protection heritage so we will stop at the different patterns of the local cultural heritage of Sétif if city as a model through 8 governance, popular proverb, local poetry, customs, traditions, and other forms.
