Abstract EN

The study of Granada kingdom’s history is considerably important due to the fact that it represents the last corner of Islamic rulein the western world which impact lasted till today.

Granada was a hub for so many intellectual currents that influenced its social life.

Among the most important currents is an approach adopted by some of ‘Faqr’and ‘affiliates’.This ‘Tariqat Alfoqara’, whichhad become widespread and had got so many affiliates, hadn’t got the consent of the significantly large class of contemporary jurisprudent who regarded them as cultists and sufiimpersonators for mere despicable material purposes.

The controversy between the ‘Foqara’ and the jurisprudents was sobig that it had been affecting the whole Granadian society.

The purpose of the actual research paper is to prove that the jurisprudents were not against the right sufism- since many of them were sufis, too, such as Abi Albaraqat Albalfiqi and Alimam Almawwak and so many others,yet they were against sufism intruders and impersonators.

This study also aims at highlighting the significant role of Granada’s jurisprudents in unifying the religious references of both of Jurisprudence and Sufismin order to maintain the nation’s power and the unity of its socialfabric.

The variant ‘fatawa’and ‘nawazil’which the jurisprudents were often asked about show many influence points of this denominationon society, taking into consideration that these fatawa had been always carrying realistic connotations since jurisprudence was in the center of daily life.
