تعمل هذه المساحات على خدمة الحضارة الت توجد ف ها حتى و لو كانت ق متها و أهم تها ذات أهم ة
فإن وجودها عتمد بصورة مجردة على التكو ن التصم م.
و من خلال النمو العموان فإن الحواف تكون لتحد د المناطق
وتخلق مساحات تستض ف ف ها أنشطة متعددة.
عتقد أن أعمال البحث المتعلقة بمساحات الفضاء و الحواف الت تحددها قد
اتخذت اتجاهات منفصلة و من النادر وجود بحث تعلق بالروابط الداخل ة ب ن خصائص الفضاء و إعدادات الحواف.
هدف هذا
البحث إلى استكشاف النشاط الداخل ب ن الفضاء و الخصائص الت تكونه مع الحواف الت تحدده و الإعدادات المرتبطة.
سوف
ركز البحث على الفضاء العمران المتوسط ح ث تبدأ المبان ف التداخل ف شكل حافة و تضمن ذلك المبان التجار ة
والمحطات و المساحات شبه العموم ة والواجهات المائ ة و كذلك المنتزهات و الحدائق.

الت تبدأ بمراجعة التراث ح ث توجد مجموعة متعددة من الخصائص المرئ ة و الظاهر ة لمساحات الفضاء والت سوف تم
البحث ف ها و كذلك الإعدادات المرئ ة و الظاهر ة للحواف.
كما أنه سوف تم الق ام بعمل ة تحل ل ة على عدد من الأمثلة الدول ة
ح ث تم فحص المساحات و إعدادات الحواف و الخصائص المتعلقة بها ف كل مثال من الأمثلة المطروحة.
توقع من البحث
أن قوم بتصو ر الارتباط الداخل للفضاء و الحافة من خلال فحص إعدادات الحافة بناءا على مساحات الفضاء و ارتباطها مع
الخصائص المكان ة المماثلة.
Abstract EN
In every city and within every district and neighborhood, there lie spaces in which the comm.
unity utilize and employ according to their own aspire.
However, each space has its own conception tale which has impacted its characteristics and features.
Despite the variety of spaces, there has to be a common pattern that unifies them in one way or another.
This is the quest of this paper, where it explores how different researchers assess spaces in order to highlight the common features utilized in such process.
These spatial configurations would consequently form a space assessment tool that could be used to produce a pattern for each and every space where such patterns can be compared in search for resemblance.
Finally this assessment tool is applied on an example (Al Raval Plaza) to clarify how it is applied and a conclusion of the selected space pattern is reached in order to exhibit a sample of the tool's outcome.
