Abstract EN

The present study aimed at identifying the attitudes of the students of the Department of Qur'anic and Language Studies of the Islamic University toward preparing them both Professionally and Educationally.

To achieve the object of the study, the researcher applied Dr.

Fathi Mustafa Al- Zayyat and Husam Muhamed Hassan's Student-Teacher Attitude Scale as a tool for conducting the research.

The scale was applied to a sample of 199 students ( males and females ) of the fourth year in the above-Mentioned Department.

The finding ofthe study showed that the attitudes of the sample toward their educational and professional preparation were positive.

So were their educational and specialized preparation.

While their attitudes toward educational courses were negative, theirs were positive towards specialized courses.

Besides, there were no statistically significant differences as regards the sample's gender (males / females) towards their educational and professional preparation.
