Generalized Residual Entropy and Upper Record Values

Abstract EN

In this communication, we deal with a generalized residual entropyof record values and weighted distributions.

Some results onmonotone behaviour of generalized residual entropy in record valuesare obtained.

Upper and lower bounds are presented.

Further, basedon this measure, we study some comparison results between a randomvariable and its weighted version.

Finally, we describe someestimation techniques to estimate the generalized residual entropyof a lifetime distribution.
