The study aims to discuss the relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematical achievement among students in middle school.

Also this study aimed to investigate the differences in mathematics anxiety levels according to sex and academic level.

The sample consisted of (285).

To collect data used the mathematics anxiety scale of Ibrahim Ali (2011) and The first term in mathematics achievement,the study showed the following results,The students have a high level of mathematics anxiety and There is an inverse correlation between mathematics anxiety and mathematical achievement among middle school students.
