The study was conducted with the aim of identifying the differences between students of the Fine Arts Department of the Institute of Fine Arts in skill performance and hand preference, As well as identifying whether there is a significant effect of the interaction between this variable on the skill performance or not.

The study sample consisted of students in the second grade - Department of Fine Arts at the Fine Arts Institute for Boys / Morning Study and its number was (23) students, whose ages ranged between (16-17) years.

The study used a set of tools to measure hand preference as well as skill performance, prepared by the researcher.

The results of the study indicated that there were significant differences between skill performance and hand preference, which were in favor of the left hand
