The current research aims to know (the effectiveness of the rule-based summary strategy in developing the spelling performance of fifth-grade primary students), and the research community was identified from the primary schools of the Baghdad Education Directorate / the third Rusafa for the academic year (2018-2019).
The researcher followed the appropriate experimental approach in his research, and the research sample was intentionally chosen from (Al-Waeli Primary Boys School); As the number of individuals in the sample reached (75) pupils by (38) for the experimental group, and (37) for the control group, and then defining the study subject that included topics from the Arabic reading subject to be taught to fifth-grade primary students, the researcher prepared teaching plans for the subjects of the experiment, and goals Behavioral, and dimensional testing, and the results of the tests were statistically treated using a number of statistical means where the results of the research showed the superiority of the experimental group students who studied according to the summary strategy based on the rules over the control group that was studied according to the traditional method of spelling performance, and in light of this the researcher put a set of Recommendations I also suggest conducting subsequent studies to complement the research
