This study aims to explore the phenomenon of alienation in the novel ( Searching for Walid Masoud ) by Jabara Ibrahim Jabra as this phenomenon seems to be the most significant in the Novel .

It also representsa dominant trend over its technical and intellectual indications.

The writer managed to personify this focal phenomenon in a distinguished technical way.

It displayed the nature of relation between the world of reality and the world of imagination in the characters , it also shows the contrast, contradiction, conflict , feeling of frustration , being astray and alienation .
