Abstract EN
Treasury bills are one of the tools used by the CBI to control cash flows, well as other direct and indirect instruments, especially in the period (2005-2017), where they are sold local banks through auction at an interest rate of between % 7 and % 16 in accordance with its instructions.
These bills are issued with original maturities of one year or six months.
Monitory policy works money indirectly on the economy than on expansionary fiscal policy which puts more money into the hands of consumers and business sectors, where monetary policy affects spending through interest rates, credit terms, exchange rates and assets credits.
Money policy can thus slow down and accelerate the economy by affecting aggregate demand
