Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to shed light on the vocational development of social studies teachers towards using digital applications in the light of digital learning requirements from the teachers' point of view.

This descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 200 male and female intermediate and secondary school teachers in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah.

The results of the study indicated that the level of social studies teachers' vocational development towards using digital applications is relatively high with a mean score of 3.66 (73% ).

The study further indicated that there are statically significant differences between teachers that can be related to the qualification and experience variables.

Meanwhile, there were no statically significant differences that can be related to the gender and educational level.

Recommendations of the study include: adding digital applications and innovations to the teachers' book, and continuous training for teachers on digital skills and requirements.
