The study area is considered a rich in human resources and natural resources supported by the extension of the area and the multiplicity of available mineral resources, which reflected on the provision of investment opportunities depending on the diversity of its wealth in terms of quantity and type, despite the abundance of natural resources, but not invested for the purposes of spatial development balanced within the province to reflect this reality negatively on Agricultural activity in agriculture, animal breeding, water resources and climatic capabilities available if invested in the field of renewable energy.

It is noted that most of these resources are almost semi disabled, which overshadowed the human resources which It is estimated that the total population of the study area amounted to ( 1, 771, 656 ) million, and equal to( 4.4% )of the total population of Iraq, distributed almost equally between urban and rural, including (873, 579) thousand workers, who suffer from increasing the phenomenon of unemployment in all kinds And high unemployment rates among young people on the back of poor development to reach( 30% ) according to estimates of 2018.
