The study aims to define the employment of Arab universities represented in a sample of Egyptian and Emirati universities for their pages on the Facebook network and their role in supporting the educational process, through an analytical and field study, and the study was conducted on the Facebook pages of four Egyptian and Emirati universities: Cairo University, and October 6 University of The Arab Republic of Egypt, the University of Sharjah, and the American University in Dubai from the United Arab Emirates.

The researcher relied on analyzing the content of the official pages of the universities under study on the Facebook network, which was reached through the official website of the university, and a number of (200) publications were analyzed at the rate of (50) publications for each of the four universities.

The field study sample consisted of 358 individual followers of these pages, which varied among students, academics, university workers, and other categories such as parents or those interested in university affairs.

The study reached a set of results, including that the pages of government universities subject to study on the communication sites were more helpful to students in making their university or professional decisions, and a source of sources shaping their attitudes towards the university, and in contrast the results showed a high rate of motivation for interaction with others among the followers of university pages More private than public universities.

The study recommended the need to take advantage of the interactive features of Facebook and its various applications and activate it on the pages of Arab universities through this medium.
