Abstract EN

This paper discusses scholars of the Malaki School, who were residents of the cities of lower Morocco; the cities which are currently located inside of Libyan borders.

This paper will highlight the great service these scholars provided for the Malaki School in a number of ways, by studying, teaching, and categorizing.

The data isextracted from Travel literature, Biographies, and Books of “Tabaqat” (a book written about a specific group of individuals, that share the same time period), while also looking into previous relevant papers.

The paper consists of an introduction, two subjects, and a conclusion.

1- In the introduction, the researcher discusses how the Libyan cities interacted with their regionalsurroundings, going east towards Egypt, and west from Kairouan into the varied cities of the Great Morocco.

2- The first subject: The alternating scholary journey.

3- The second subject: Their service to the books of the Malaki School (Studying, teaching and categorizing).

4- The researcher has attached an appendix comparing the writings of Al ‘Abdary and Al Tyjany regarding the scholary life in Libya.

5- The conclusion contains the notable results of the study, recommendations, and the sources.
