Abstract EN

The scientific, cognitive and technological revolution in this age and its associated population explosion and social mobility, economic change in various fields and its openness to the world, which led to the need to develop the performance of school principals and focus on the management and modernization of education, to address the lack of administrative performance.

, 1989: 51 The study aimed at evaluating the program of developing school administration from the point of view of the program participants from the principals and principals of secondary schools in Kirkuk governorate .The study population consists of the directors and principals of the secondary schools who participated in the courses in Kirkuk Governorate.

The total number of students was (26) director and director.

The study sample included all participants for the academic year (2012-2013).

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed which included (55) paragraphs after arbitration, divided into two parts.

The first part (43) includes a paragraph divided into six fields, while the second part (12) includes some administrative competencies.

The validity of the tool was verified by presenting it to a number of arbitrators who are competent in the field of educational administration with an approval rate of 85%.

The tool was confirmed by testing and retest, (0.85).

In order to answer the questions of the study, the analysis of the mono-variance and the t-test was used to make the comparisons.

The results of the study showed that the general index of school principals towards the school management development program is a positive indicator, recommended the researcher some recommendations and suggestions.
