Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the level of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in Kirkuk and to know the significance of differences according to the gender variable, the researcher used the descriptive approach to suit this type of study, the research community consisted of secondary school teachers in Kirkuk city center.

A random sample of 540 teachers and 22% of the original community was selected, this sample represents the sample of excellence, stability, the completion of a measure of job satisfaction was made up of (40) paragraphs after the completion of the cycometric characteristics to build the scale of sincerity and consistency, The results of the research indicate that the level of general job satisfaction of teachers above average.

There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the level of job satisfaction according to gender variable and for females The researchers also found in the light of the results of the research a number of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which: Develop a system of incentives, rewards and moral incentives .
