This research examines the formation of the fantastic character in the narration of Juma'a Al-Lami, and how this author invests his cultural and social references in the formation which is always contrary to the familiarity.

He also examines the historical and mythological loads carried by Juma'a Al-Lami, which gave him a fantastic frame.

Character is the key through which the recipient reaches the vision of the writer and understands that vision.
