This research paper examines the principle of legal security, as one of the basic prerequisites for establishing a state of law based on ensuring effective protection of fundamental rights and freedoms in society, especially in light of the current situation of the law, characterized by inflation, instability and decline in editorial quality normative texts.

The study aims to determine the principle, by focusing especially on its content, and on its value within the pyramid of the hierarchy of legal norms in the country.
