Abstract EN

The objective of this sresearch article is to clarify the importance of the economic regulation in the management of the public economic service in Algeria.

This canbethrough the fundamental theoriticalidea of the public service, and the necessity of the existence of an independent authority as a mechanism to control this public performances focusing on the followingsectors: mail and telcommunication, water, electricity and gas.

This study concludethat the efficiency of the regulation authority and its positive impact on the good management of the public service, as well as itscontinuity depends to the extent of the organic and functional independence of thisauthority.
